I love ODUrent, this is my 2nd year living in one of their properties.. they always respond to emails quickly, the staff is extremely nice (shoutout to my girl Monica). What I love about ODUrent is that their properties are very affordable and they help you find roommates if you're by yourself. Maintenance is always on time. Smoke detector inspections are regular to keep everybody safe. It's just great, I never want to leave.

The mills is a great living enviorment. They offer a rustic loft feel in all of the rooms. In addition they have matenace staff available to rectify any known or unknown issues you may come across. I recommend it to any college student or young adult looking for a living space they can make their own.

Odurent is great! The staff is super friendly and reasonable, especially when compared to other landlords in Norfolk. They have the nicest properties in their respective areas by far and their maintenance team responds to workorders extremely fast!

ODUrent was able to fix my complaints. Their property 'the mills' is their prized property and for good reason. It's a great spot to stay close to campus. They keep the area safe with a fenced in parking lot, security cameras in the public halls, bolt locks on all the steel doors and concrete walls. I called it a fortress when I lived there. One of the safest places in walking distance from ODU. I've lived there for 2 years and ODUrent has been doing a great job renovating the building, and they're continuing to improve the location. My only gripe with the company is it is mandatory for them to take roughly 200$ from your deposit no matter how clean and perfect of a tennant you are. They use this money to repaint and call multiple cleaning services to clean your room before it is rented out to new renters. Makes sense I guess. Wasn't a big deal, and overall I've had a positive experience with odurent compared to other rental companies or individuals in the area. They're a top notch professional company. Would recommend.

Great team to rent from. This is my first year renting from them and I have enjoyed my place. In the future I would love for them to have individual apartments 1 bed or studios only for people who do not want roommates. Thanks ODU Rent.

Can't say enough about how much I appreciate these people! Highly recommend them. I am so impressed about how kind they are and were concerned more about returning my brother's personal items to me after his passing than they were about the business aspect of running the storage facility and a late bill. If you have any storage or rental needs in the Norfolk area--look them up! So kind, so helpful, and genuine. Thanks you so much!

She answered all my questions lightning fast, and made the overall experience of applying for my first apartment as simple and painless as possible. + she's super funny so someone please get this gurl a raise! I really enjoyed the staff! It’s a college town so I didn’t expect the nicest place, but any issues I had were fixed immediately! Aleita is AMAZING. I got orders to be stationed in another state and she helped me get out of my lease in a timely manner. She was always there to help and was pleasant every step of the way. Thanks Aleita! The Office staff and the maintenance team were very helpful with helping me to resolve some issues that I was having in my apartment. The Mill is by far one of the coolest places to live off campus! My only issue was that the parking spots are limited but I never had an issue finding parking in front of the building. Odurent has made my first experience living on my own the best!

The mills is an amazing property to house with. Their customer service team is extremely nice & helpful. Maintenance comes immediately if you have any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for loft style apartments!

This company has help me out a lot . Great employees always willing to help . I’ve been at my apartment for almost 2 years and I haven’t had no problems with the company. whenever I have a maintenance problem though they be real busy they still make time to come out and fix my problems they always help help me with any questions I have. I would recommend and rent from time anytime .

Went to their office in person because I live close. I had found a dead cockroach in my apartment and freaked out, I hadn't seen any other signs but was still very worried. They saw me immediately and I explained to them, and they said they would send a person to spray just in case to and to make me feel more assured. The person came the next day and I feel so much better. Felt like this was handled fast and to high standards. Good management.

I couldn’t be more pleased with this rental company and their staff. Not only are they extremely friendly and professional but they are always prompt when dealing with all maintenance issues and/or complaints, questions or concerns. I have recommended many family and friends to odurent and will continue to recommend as everybody I’ve come across has had nothing but positive feedback in reference to this rental company. They are by far the best when it comes to top quality beautiful properties, affordable rents, and the most caring and professional staff. I’m surprised I’m even leaving 3 stars, in the beginning was very excited to be renting with them seemed very smooth and I was in a rush to find housing since I go to school out there, they found roommates for me and they seemed nice. Pictures and everything they post is FALSE ADVERTISING!! We all moved in, cleaning was not done prior to when we moved in, and so many problems with the place already. Rooms are TINY, overpriced rent! Utilities overpriced as well. There was mold all over the place, COCKROACHES, so many issues. Maintenance would come periodically but they barely did anything. Finally found someone to sub lease so I could leave and speaking with the leasing office was such a Hassle. Worst experience ever and don’t rent with them ! Go with anyone else but ODU RENT
